Unlike the usual process of baking your cookies, polish cookies adds a little different twist to the way cookies are traditionally made. Instead of being baked, this cookie is fried instead so for persons who are not so accustomed to using the oven, this will provide them with a little extra comfort when making something that they can enjoy, along with being fulfilled with the fact that the product was created from their effort. Use this article as your main guide to create some polish cookies.

- Medium sized bowl
- Plastic wrap

- Large Skillet
- Paper towels
- 3 eggs
- ¼ cup of milk
- 2¾ cups of flour
- ½ cup of sugar
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- Confectioners’ sugar
- Place the sugar, eggs, milk and salt into the medium sized bowl and mix them out together with a wooden spoon until they mix out. Then slowly add the flour until everything fully incorporates and forms the dough.
- Take the dough and place it into a plastic wrap and then into the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
- Use some more flour to spread on a smooth clean surface in the kitchen (like a wooden surface) and roll the dough out with a rolling pin.
- Use the knife and cut out the dough into 4*1½ inch rectangles. Then twist the rectangle strips twice to form out a bow tie shape and twist the center to flatten and seal it.
- Turn the stove on to a medium flame to heat the oil to about 250 degrees F and place a large skillet over it until the oil is well heated. Start putting in the bow ties a group at a time until they are all fried and golden.
- When all of the cookies are done, place them onto paper towels so they can be drained off. Then allow the polish cookies to cool. Once they are cool, confectioners’ sugar can be sprinkled on them.
- You can eat the cookies as you like and store the rest in a container and put it away.
